Binder Clip Stamp Camp Project

Here are a few more pictures of the Greeley Stamp Camp for Demos. This Binder Clip was one of our projects. These are great to decorate and use to hold a recipe, a namecard, photo, little phrase or inspirational note etc.
If you're a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator these little clips work well to hold up your card sample at a stamp station.
I used my to hold a 6x6 scrapbook page from our daughter's recent graduation. Yeah, Alexis!

I love the scallop punch! This card will kind of hold the card together by the way the scallop piece and the punch out piece line up together. This is a great card to use up the scraps of designer papers you might have as well as scraps of ribbon too!
Enjoy,
Jennifer

Long Notes - Masculine Birthday

Masculine cards are always a challenge. Here's a quick card that is more masculine than most cards I do. I used the long notes, jumbo eyelet and double stitched ribbon...."Wanted" &
"Think Happy Thoughts Set"...and Blue Bayou Designer Series Paper. All from Stampin' Up!

Chip board "LOVE" theme

I've seen similar brag or theme books on the market that have the letters on the side of the pages and I've always thought they were fun and wanted to make one. So here is what I came up with using all Stampin' Up! products. I used the On Board Book Basics Small and cut each sheet a bit smaller than the one behind it. Then used designer paper (which I love) and chip board letters. Then embellished each page with rub ons, felt fusion flowers, rhinestone brands, silver hodgepodge pieces, ribbons and
Big Bloom die cuts......so really just about anything laying on my stamp table within arms reach! :-) This project is not hard, just takes time but not difficult at all. Hardest part was finding and choosing only 6 favorite photos to match the titles from the rub ons.

Here's a layout of photos of my daughter cheering at state basketball this year. The title is made with some rub ons as well as the long strips of designs. The scalloped black strip, the #2 and the two little pom pom type of shapes in the bottom right are all chipboard shapes. The three stamped hearts are from the set: "Always"...stamped in black and then some white gel pen added here and there to simulate the bandana design on Alexis' headband. This layout could easily be changed to any theme: Love 2 Stamp, Love 2 Garden, Love 2 Dance, Love 2 Hike, Love 2 Play in the Dirt......etc. The larger photo is a 5x7. I love that picture and wanted to highlight it on this layout so I made it larger to start with. It looks cool knowing that we usually don't have a huge crowd like that to cheer in front of, only at the district & state. And the other team playing next just happen to be sitting there and were our same school colors. So it looks like there are a lot of Coyote fans! Otherwise, living in a town with a population of 388, the crowds aren't that big! :-)

Silver Hodgepodge kit

I made these items by soldering the silver hodgepodge pieces together (there is a front and back piece of the same shape). The solder matches the color of the silver and is easy to do. Just held it together with a clothespin (real high tech isn't it?).... then added flux and then used the lead and the solder tool. Each insert is placed behind a piece of acetate for added protection.
I made a key chain, a necklace pennant and an ornament.
This would be more of an advanced project for customers.
Oh, and the cute kids in the photos are mine!

Demo Camp this Saturday

Here's a sneak peek of the projects at the stamp camp for demos this Saturday in Greeley, Colorado. We are making 2 gift card holders, several cards, a coaster craft, a binder clip craft and scrapbook pages! All in a 3 hour session. Hope the girls eat their Wheaties! LOL!
I'll post these individual projects later on.

Carousel Notes gift card purse

Here's a fun gift card holder made with the Carousel Notes. The handle is chipboard covered in designer paper. Obviously I need a larger envelope for this due to the handle.
Here's the inside. The word window punch (two punches side by side) makes a perfect slot for holding the gift card.

Punch & Poke Card

I used the 5 Petal Punch (from SU!) and a giant thumbtack for this fun flower cutout on this card. Just punch the flower out, then use the thumbtack (or paper piercer) to create and outline of hole punches around the punched out image. This is a great way to use up scraps of designer papers which get layered behind this opening. Also used rub on words, spiral punch, taffeta ribbon and a rhinestone brad.
