About 1 1/2 week left for this sale!

Dazzling Diamonds glitter paper

Here's a quick and easy card for the holidays.  I've made several variations of this design but it always contains the Dazzling Diamond glitter paper for the cut out of the reindeer (from the Santa's Sleigh thinlit die set).  Very festive!

Check out those items on page 24-25 of the current Holiday mini catalog.

Cookie Cutter Builder Punch

The holiday catalog has the cutest Cookie Cutter Builder sets and matching punch.  Both the reindeer and the skeleton man are punched from the same punch....just flip flop the image for either 2 legs or 2 antlers.  I used a little bit of Wink of Stella on the deer's nose and antlers to give it some shimmer...which is super easy and adds some sparkle!
You can kind of see the sparkle in this picture from the Wink of Stella pen.  Also, check out the gorgeous Cable Knit embossing folder!  It's going to be great for any holiday or winter card so order it now as the holiday catalog expires January 3, 2017!

One last Thoughtful Branches

Here are the projects from last week's stamp club.  The top 2 cards were listed in previous post (similar versions of these cards) and of course I had to add a purple card creation to the projects.

Masculine Thank You cards

Quick and easy masculine thank you card.  The "YOU" is from the retired set: Bravo.  I just cut the photopolymer to have just that image on the acrylic block so stamping was quick and easy.  I think I will continue to use the "YOU! for a variety of cards as a single word image.  The "thank" is a thinlit die.  We carry different words now on page 192 of the current catalog.  * Best way to adhere those thin, cardstock phrases from the thinlit dies is with our Fine tip glue pen # 138309, page 182.

Thoughtful Branches inspiration

I was inspired by Sarah Wills' card at Sarah's Ink Spot for this adorable card using the
new stamp set and dies:  Thoughtful Branches Bundle #144328

I used the phrase from the same stamp set with the 1-3/8" circle punch.
I love how the die cuts help cut out such intricate designs and when the leaves are layered
onto the tree trunk shape with Stampin' Dimensionals, it is so pretty.
It really helps make your cards look "over the top" and very FANCY!

Earn a free card kit for any $40+ order

Clean Slate....well desk!

It's a rare occurrence that my stamp desk is clean enough to share a picture but I took this picture while it is the cleanest it has been all summer.  I love my ink pad storage rack from Stamp-n-Storage and the rolling metal cart from Ikea.  It won't be long and it will be messy again!

Detailed Floral Thinlits

I have always been a huge Big Shot/ Sizzix fan.  Between Stampin' Up!, teaching k-12 kids at school and using it at home I just love my Big Shot machine!  This is a fabulous new thinlit die:  "Detailed Floral".  This card was quick and easy and oh so pretty!  I used Dapper Denim cardstock, scrap of DSP and the "Celebrate" image from the RMCH set called "My Hero" (page 209 of current catalog).

Ready for stamp club!

Here's 3 of the projects we are making tomorrow night at stamp club in Colorado.  If you are interested in attending a stamp class let me know and I will notify you when a class is in your area...of course you can always come stamp with me in Nebraska!  These three cards use a past Paper Pumpkin kit.  The kit was so adorable that I purchased refills to have enough for our classes.  Did you know that only Paper Pumpkin subscribers can purchase the left over kits?  That is true... and another reason to sign up for the monthly Paper Pumpkin kits.  As well as using the supplies in the kit, I added the Foxy Friends cute fox image......head of fox is punched out and adhered with a dimensional.   All cards are quick and easy and I love the color combination of Pool Party and Calypso Coral.

Bundled Baby Gift Tag

I made this adorable gift tag for a baby shower this weekend.  Even though I used the Bundled Baby set (which I think is retired) any cute Stampin' Up! baby image would work for a quick and simple tag. Or, change the image all together for a Birthday, Thank you etc.   The second tag is behind this and it coordinates and is where I signed my name.  I love the new Metallic Foil Doilies from Stampin' Up! as well as the Washi Label punch and the DSP: Cherry on Top.
The polka dots on the top of the tag are just a new pencil used to stamp the eraser in the Smoky Slate ink pad and stamp on the tag to create a pattern.  I wanted polka dots to match the baby's blanket and that was the quickest solution I could dream up. :-)

3 of 4 designs for: SPRINKLES OF LIFE

In the last 2 posts I have been sharing designs using the Ronald McDonald House Charities set for 2015-16.
Here is one more card idea which has the Silver Glimmer paper as the silver lining in every cloud....this gorgeous, extra shimmery paper is perfect for this phrase.
*There is just one trick you need to know to get this look....use the coordinating punch (Tree Builder) and insert the Silver Glimmer paper in the punch with the back (white side) facing "UP" in the punch and the glimmer side facing the bottom of the punch.
Check out the previous post from 2 days ago to see the full stamp set images and the coordinating punch.

Card 2 (of 4) from SPRINKLES OF LIFE set

As explained in my previous post, the SPRINKLES OF LIFE set is the Ronald McDonald House Charities set for this catalog year of 2015-16.  Each stamp set we sell gets $3 donated to this charity from Stampin' Up!.  With fall right around the corner I thought it would be fun to design a card using the bare tree and a fun pile of leaves.  This set has so many fun options from trees, cupcakes, ice cream cones, flowers etc.  It is very versatile.  Don't you just love the fall colors?

Thankful Forest Friends: Bear

This bear is so adorable and makes for a quick and easy card with the Holiday Mini catalog set: Thankful Forest Friends.  The wood grain paper is Designer Series Paper: Into the Woods (also in Holiday Mini).  If  you look closely the white paper is embossed with the wood grain embossing folder so there are lots of textures and layers to this fun card!  Tag is made with the new Ornate Tag Topper punch from page 165 of the current big catalog.  Bear is stamped with the new Archival Basic Black Stampin' Pad...Hip Hip Horray! for having a true BLACK ink pad again.  (pg. 19 of Holiday Mini Catalog #140931 $7.00) Ordering for Holiday Mini: Sept. 1-January 4, 2016.

Bold Butterfly Thinlits

This is a fun new card uses my favorite In Color: Watermelon  Wonder

The embossing folder used for the background is called "Fluttering" and it is a new folder in our 2015-16 catalog and these new folders are larger in size.  They are 6x6" and just fit into the Big Shot machine.  Having this larger space allows for choosing your placement or for larger pieces of course. The "Bold Butterfly" Thinlits match up perfectly with the "Watercolor Wings" stamp set which makes a beautiful butterfly cut out.
